About the Event
Aim of the workshop (website link)
The goal of this workshop is twofold: First, we would like to provide empirically minded philosophers and cognitive scientists with a new, cutting-edge methodological toolkit. Second, we want to encourage more cross-disciplinary collaboration amongst empirically minded philosophers, linguists, legal scholars and psychologists.
After participation in our methods workshop, participants will be able to conduct corpus analysis in a variety of fields of the social sciences. They will have finished their first own project using corpus studies, supported by experts as well as highly motivated early-career researchers with different social science backgrounds.
How to apply
We have limited space for 4-5 participants from Non-Zurich universities. There is no participation fee. Unfortunately, we cannot cover accommodation and travel expenses. Participants can either book a room at La Collina or at one of the close-by hotels or AirBnB accommodations. Please contact us if you have any additional questions we might be able to help with.
If you would like to attend, please send a short CV (one page), a short statement of motivation (max. 300 words) and a short proposal for a project you would like to work on (also max. 300 words) to Dominik Müller mueller-do@bluewin.ch.
Deadline for applications is February 23, 2020.
